Tis’ the season for giving
Ho ho ho! It’s the 12th of December. You know what that means! The 12 days of Christmas are upon us! At least… that’s what I thought. Coming from a country that doesn’t celebrate all 12 days I thought this stretch was leading up to Christmas. Turns out it’s actually after Christmas, so I pushed out my work earlier than necessary.
Never mind all that- this still doesn’t change anything. These past few weeks I have worked to produce not one but two new Yu-Gi-Oh! inspired NFTs which aim to bring out the Christmas spirit in every degen on CT. I present to you my two NFTs, one made especially for collectors and the other made especially for fellow Rarible NFT artists.

Kidding! It’s Christmas, and in the spirit of n̶o̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶b̶u̶y̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶a̶r̶t giving, I have decided to make these NFTs acquirable through special methods which don’t involve any kind of payments. In fact, they’re not even on my “on sale” page, meaning you can’t buy them even if you offered 1 btc. How’s that for exclusivity? (okay, maybe 1 btc sounds good 🌚).

Let’s start with the NFT for collectors. As you might have already seen on twitter, 10 copies will be distributed over a period of 12 days (14th December to 23rd December). The rules are as follows:
- One new tweet everyday (don’t retweet the wrong day’s one!)
- One new winner everyday corresponding to that day’s tweet 🎁 (announced at 2230 GMT+8)
- Previous days’ winners cannot win a copy again
Gift Exchange Artist exchange
Next up is the NFT for fellow artists. I have 15 copies minted, all of which must be exchanged before 31st December 2020 or I will be cursed since 2020 has been a horrible year. Okay fine I’ll probably burn unswapped copies like a normal human being. The rules are as follows:
- 1 for 1 gift exchange with my… Gift Exchange card (very apt name, I know)
- The art you swap with me must be created by you
- I have the right to judge if an artwork is of acceptable quality (I am not extremely picky but effort must also be recognized)
For the Gift Exchange NFT, feel free to reach out to me via twitter messaging and we can discuss what NFTs we can swap. Props to you if you have a Christmas related NFT 🔔. While there are no hard and fast rules on this, I only have 15 copies of the Gift Exchange NFT and will burn any unswapped ones after 31st December. This is to ensure that it remains exclusive and only obtainable first-hand through this holiday season.
After the swap, feel free to keep and hodl it, or sell it at a suitable price. Take this as a friendly gift exchange between fellow NFT artists, since it’s a hard profession and I know not everyone makes it big straightaway, myself included. I believe that we should support and promote each other, and moving forward with quality art together means a better chance at making NFT on the crypto sphere more mainstream in the future. In the meantime, have a good holiday and let’s get ready for the bull run in 2021.
